Greater comfort, lower fuel consumption

Underfloor heating distributes heat evenly throughout the room and operates at a lower flow temperature (30–35 °C) than radiators (50–60 °C).

Ideal for heat pumps & district heating

The low flow temperature makes underfloor heating the most energy-efficient partner for heat pumps and district heating.

Underfloor Heating in a Cast Concrete Floor

New Construction & Complete Renovation

The classic solution, in which the underfloor heating pipes are secured to the rebar mesh and encased in concrete with a layer of insulation underneath.

Best for: New construction, additions, or complete renovations where the old floor is torn up.

Advantages: Excellent heat retention, high strength, and a perfect base for tile or tile flooring in bathrooms and utility rooms.

Low-Profile Floor Heating (Renovation in Existing Homes)

Would you like to install underfloor heating in an existing house without having to tear up the entire foundation? With modern renovation panels (grooved particleboard or EPS panels), underfloor heating can be installed directly on top of the existing subfloor.

Best for: Wooden floors, first-floor rooms, and renovations of living rooms or bedrooms where the ceiling height must be preserved.

Advantages: Fast response time (the heat is regulated quickly) and minimal installation height.

Are you having trouble with cold floors or a malfunctioning control system?

Do you already have underfloor heating, but find that certain rooms are cold, that the underfloor heating shunt is noisy, or that the room thermostats aren't responding?

Although the pipes in the floor themselves rarely break, the components in the utility room require maintenance. The circulation pump, the telestats (the small motors on the manifold), and the control box can wear out or get stuck over time.

We can help you with:

troubleshoot

Troubleshooting and replacement of defective telestats, pumps, and shunt valves.

upgrade

Upgrading older, wired thermostats to new wireless room thermostats.

thermostat

Adjusting the system so that the heat is distributed properly among the rooms.

Should underfloor heating be installed as part of a new bathroom?

If you’re planning to renovate your bathroom, installing water-based radiant floor heating is practically a given. We’re happy to coordinate the plumbing work in your bathroom, from pouring the floor with the proper slope to installing fixtures and fittings.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions About Floor Heating

Electric floor heating is inexpensive to install but very expensive to operate. Water-based floor heating is connected to the home’s primary heat source (heat pump, district heating, or furnace) and is significantly cheaper to operate annually. As a general rule, we always recommend water-based floor heating for larger areas.

Yes, you certainly can. The vast majority of modern engineered wood and laminate floors are compatible with water-based radiant floor heating. The only requirement is that the surface temperature of the floor does not exceed 27 °C, which a properly configured room control system ensures.

A cold floor is most often caused by a stuck pin in the thermostatic valve on the underfloor heating manifold, a defective thermostatic valve, air in the pipes, or a circulation pump that has stopped working. These are issues that our HVAC technicians can quickly diagnose and fix.
